Dear Rishi Sunak,

Thousands of people are being made redundant each day because the furlough schemes don't run for long enough in sectors that will still be heavily restricted in October. Theatres, live music venues, community venues, the weddings and events industries all face reduced capacity or demand under the ongoing restrictions.

Please extend the furlough scheme in restricted sectors to protect jobs and make sure the businesses can get up and running as quickly as possible once restrictions are fully lifted.
