This petition is open to Asda staff, customers and the general public:

Dear Roger Burnley,

Right now, all of us are working non-stop to keep the nation fed and serve as many customers as we can. We're keeping the shelves stocked and making sure the vulnerable have access to food and essentials. Many of us are putting ourselves at risk to make it happen.

We received a bonus for working through the first wave, which was hugely appreciated. But we're well into the second wave and working around the clock again.

Asda are making huge profits right now, it's only fair that shopfloor staff receive some of it in time for Christmas. Staff at Sainsbury's are already being recognised with a 10% bonus.

Please give all staff a 10% Christmas bonus for all hours worked in December.

Why is this important?

Sainsbury's is already giving a 10% Christmas bonus to all staff for working through the pandemic. Asda's are making millions right now, they can afford to do the same. We are essential workers and Asda's has enough to reward staff properly.
