Carers are often on minimum wage and thousands are on zero hours contracts. Some carers are even isolating with their patients, away from their children, to look after those who need it most.
Carers are working on the frontline with some of the most vulnerable people. Together, we've saluted care workers by clapping every Thursday - but it's time their agencies gave them more. All care workers deserve a bonus.
