Dear Chancellor Healey,

I am writing as a graduate suffering under the current student loan system. A system that in July, the Education Secretary called "egregious" on national radio and Parliament ruled as "mis-sold". The Treasury Committee has given you a clear, costed instruction: reverse the repayment threshold freeze at a cost of £355 million, which it described as "a modest change".

For millions of us paying back these loans, this freeze means more money taken out of our pay packets every month, on a broken and unfair system that gave us the opportunity to access higher education, but instead left us with a monumental debt. The Autumn Budget is your opportunity to put this right.

Please will you:

- Reverse the student loan repayment threshold freeze in the Autumn Budget, as the Treasury Committee has recommended.
- Confirm what the government will do to address Parliament's finding that the student loan system was mis-sold.

You voted against fairer student loans in March, but you have the chance to redeem yourself and show that was not your final word at the Autumn Budget.
