To Jonathan Reynolds, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade and Kanishka Narayan, Minister for Artificial Intelligence
It is terrifying when you can't tell if someone is filming you. It is such a privacy violation.
Meta's glasses are so sneaky, that the small light that is meant to "warn" you when the camera is rolling goes easily unspotted when you are at a till, on a train or walking around. By the time that you notice the footage already exists and is being stored somewhere.
And while I am glad that pubs, restaurants, some theatres and court rooms are banning them, the Government needs to act to ban them completely now."
