To Usdaw the Union for Tesco, and Tesco Chief Executive Ken Murphy
Many wage clerks at Tesco have been doing this office-based/admin role for over 30 years, but our job title is now being made redundant. Wage clerks are being forced onto shop floor roles as there are no other admin roles available - Tesco lied to the Union saying there were other admin roles available but this is not true. Instead, our job tasks are being given to existing Admin staffand Managers. Despite our jobs being made redundant and no alternative admin roles available, Tesco wage clerks have not been offered voluntary redundancy.
