To Andy Burnham, Prime Minister
Anthropic, which has 12 million users in the UK, is about to be valued at 1.5 trillion dollars. At the same time, the Government wants to cut welfare spending to get young people into work. This is wrong, our young people need support into work and support to live at the same time, not one or the other. AI companies should pay for training for young people so they can get into work. If the average pay of an Anthropic staff member in the UK is £560,000, they can afford to pay it back by supporting our young people.
