Coca-Cola has been complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza through:
- Coca-Cola Israel operates a bottling plant in Atarot, an illegal Israeli settlement built on confiscated Palestinian land.
- During previous Israeli offensives, Coca-Cola Israel donated products to the IDF, bolstering its public support for military action.
- Coca-Cola maintains close commercial ties with Israeli institutions that back apartheid policies, while ignoring human rights violations.
How you can get involved:
- Sign and share this petition - let’s send a clear message that Brighton stands with Gaza.
- Talk to your local corner shop, café, or pub and ask them to switch from Coca-Cola to Gaza Cola or other ethical alternatives.
- Use your networks and share this campaign on WhatsApp, Instagram, and community forums. Use the hashtag #CokeFreeBrighton.
- Email your councillor and demand they support a Coca-Cola Free Brighton and raise it at the next council meeting.
It can be hard to know how to help the people of Gaza, but by encouraging our favourite local cafes, restaurants and corner shops to boycott Coca-Cola - we can send a clear message that this city stands with Palestine.

We call on Brighton & Hove City Council to:
- Publicly commit to making Brighton a Coca-Cola Free City.
We call on Brighton-based businesses to:
- Commit to stop stocking Coca-Cola and replace it with ethical alternatives (such as Gaza Cola)
We call on Brighton residents:
- Support this campaign and share with your friends and neighbours
Make Brighton a Coca-Cola Free City!
