To Colin Bell, HSBC CEO

HSBC have behaved appallingly towards me as a business customer. I feel there are far too many powerful multinationals that behave like they are governments. Multinational corporations like HSBC need to pay a fair amount of UK tax, especially with the cost of living and rising interest rates for consumers. HSBC alone has reported that its pre-tax profits for the first half of 2023 were £16.9bn - over double compared to the year before.
