I've been at Amazon for 4 years. For the last 8 or 9 months, senior management leaders have been trying to save their own positions, and pushing junior leaders to leave or terminating their contracts. Senior leaders aren't helping juniors with their development and even mark them up negatively internally. Core operations are frequently run by junior leaders, with no support or respect from senior leaders.
