To Jeremy Hunt, Chancellor of the Exchequer

Thanks to the Chancellor's regressive stealth tax that has frozen people's tax-free threshold at £12,570 until 2028 more and more of us will become liable to pay tax to HMRC even though many are living below the level of the minimum wage. This will disproportionately affect the lower paid/ pensioners whilst having zero effect on the wealthy.

The income tax freeze needs to be reversed with immediate effect and the tax threshold should reflect the impact of inflation on an annual basis.
