To Rishi Sunak
It applies to every driver on UK roads
Petition text
Currently the UK people pay fuel duty at 57.95 pence per litre of fuel. This is for both petrol and diesel. With the current rising costs of fuel, former Chancellor Rishi Sunak said he would reduce fuel duty by 5p per litre for 1 year. This is not enough to help the people of the UK. If the Chancellor made a real cut in fuel duty by 50 and reduced it by 28 pence a litre, that would help the general population of road users both domestic and commercial and would alleviate financial strain on a lot of businesses and households.
