I work in an Amazon sort centre. We work an 8 hour shift and have a 30-minute unpaid break. Meanwhile, MME1 is a nearby fulfilment centre which has 8 hour shifts with 20-minute paid breaks. When I asked our manager why some Amazon colleagues got paid breaks while ours are unpaid, they said it’s because we are different centres. But both of these centres are owned by Amazon UK Ltd, so it is unjust that we are not receiving the same treatment.
