The Department for Education is formally asking for evidence on how the student loan system is working. That is a rare opportunity and it only matters if enough people respond. 35,000 people have already joined this campaign. The government needs to hear from all of us. Currently, interest is charged at the rate of inflation (RPI) +3% , meaning your debt grows in real terms every year.
